JDM D15B or not? Please help ID my block, head, IM, TB, harness, ECU, etc!
Hey guys,
Looking for some help from the pros to ID without a doubt what exactly each component of my engine setup is. I thought this was a complete JDM D15B non-vtec setup, but now it seems like it might be a mix of some other parts.
The block says D15B
The head says PM3-10
It had DPFI and I swapped to MPFI, swapping the harness, distributor, injectors, throttle body, intake manifold, and am using a PM6 ECU.
There is a MAP sensor on the throttle body, and when it is unplugged, the car dies.
I'm trying to work out all the kinks in the setup and just want to know what I'm working with. First step is to replace the valvecover gasket and seals/o-rings to stop oil from getting into my spark plugs but I'm not positive on what the correct part number is for this.
Pictures are below, thanks for any help!
What is the plug that isn't connected here?

Well it's a D15B...the head is from a JDM 92' civic but it's not a Vtec. It has a block off plate on the back of the head. The heads are the same interchange for all DX, LX, Si for 88-91 and DX, LX 92-95.
Since you're running a 92' and newer head, make sure that you are running the older injectors if you're using the injector resistor box. Also did you rewire the tps sensor?

The two prong connector goes to ur purge cut solenoid valve that was on ur firewall. As far as parts for that motor. Any d15b parts will fit it. Most d-series parts are interchangeable.
