New to RSX. Gas needle goes up and down periodically

I noticed on my RSX that my gas gauge goes up and down. Will fill it up half then 10-20miles it would be down to 1/4 tank then goes back up between 1/4 and half.

Any idea thanks!

the float/sender in the fuel pump is probably going bad. Maybe a bad connection
