2001 Accord 4cyl auto valve adjustment
is it necessary to do valve adjustment for my car as part of the 150,000 miles service?
someone told me that it is not necessary, but i wanted to get the community advice on this.

OP: there's no sense in not checking the valve adjustment while the cover is off. it's free aside from a little time investment and maybe some feeler gages if you don't have them already.
it should list the interval for adjustment in your owners manual.. but if you don't have it or you're unsure, go ahead and adjust.
I dont have that model, I have a 91 so I have to do them. I've just heard that "later models have hydraulic motors, so you dont do valve adjustments by design". I'll have to find a youtube vid with it. I believe you though. I'm just going off of what other people have said.

i asked my mechanic and he said that valve adjustment would be done with the service, so i guessing that its not mandatory, but if you can, do it.
