Default Check light is on, jumped it. This is what I got

Check light popped on and I read the stickie on it and it said it was suppose o pause for a 1/2 sec or full second. The pause between each blink was like 4 seconds.

It went over 92 blinks...I'm grtting the feeling I read that wrong. Anybody have any suggestions?

You sure it's not just a constant blinking? What were you doing just before?

I just asked a friend thats knowledgable on Hondas and he said the four second pause means it's starting over. If that's the case and it gave me on long blink from the sticky it might be a 02?

And it's not a constant blink, the pause is in between. I just took notice to the light last night. It was raining pretty hard out here and I noticed it then.

One long blink would be a code 10.

The thread even uses that code as an example.

One short blink would be a code 01/code 1. Two short blinks would be a code 02/code 2.

Id say it's a code 10 IAT - intake air temperature sensor

Seems to have a long pause in between each flash.

Looks like code 1 for the primary O2 sensor.

By the way OP, you should put information about your car in your signature as this is crucial to know for technical threads.

Looks like a code 1 to me as well. If it's a code 10, it should stay lit longer than that. The long pause definitely signifies that it's starting over, so you're throwing just 1 code.

so consensus is o2...that's a plus...at least this way when I goto get tuned I can get that tuned out.

weird thing is the light hasn't turned on my last drive around today : /

figures it would do that...also the gas mileage magically starts to do a lil bit better by reading what the gauge has been saying. lol

also, for the IAT sensor, I was actually going to change it today but the guy that did the swap before me kept the ex sensor in there instead of using the 99-00 sensor...that normal?

code 1 : O2
First reset your ECU by remove backup fuse (7.5A) from under-hood fuse box or remove (-) battery terminal for 10 sec then put it back and test it. If it always throw code1 you need to check poor connections or loose wire or request your tuner for recheck to disable O2.

is it the only 7.5a fuse sitting under the hood? Why isn't the fuse labeled for the ecu if that's the case? I know thats what everybody is saying, i'm just curious as to why it would be that way instead of actually labeling it that way
