ok I have searched and searched. I just finished my 96 to 99-00 hvac conversion, but I am not sure how this bezel mounts. Obviously the 96-98 had 2 screws on bottom and 1 behind each button in the corners. I used my 96 dash and changed the center vent. i have yet to see how this mounts with screws. It does pop in but moves around.

Any input? or pictures of you 99-00 with the bezel installed with out a radio?

 

I'm going to be swapping out my head unit this weekend actually in my 99

Basically the front plastic bezel was secured with a few metal clips (most of which I broke off when removing unfortunately).
But there's a somewhat elaborate frame work of metal in there.


The metal framing on the back side of the bezel bolts into place at 4 different spots along the bottom of the framing inside the dash. let me know if it helps!

Also, don't see the need to start a new thread, but I need a picture of the ecu installed. lol sounds dumb but new to honda's and putting the car together from how I bought it. I have search but couldn't find any installed pics

 

ok. I looked at mine and doesn't have that brace across there. I can't believe that none of the DIY threads brings this up. Especially with the whole security concerns. I guess I will have to fab up some brackets.
