i have a hatch back, and im doing body work and going to be getting it re-painted. i was just wondering if there was an easy way to remove the quarter panel hatch glass? or am i stuck with leaving it in there and taping around it? its a eg if the generation matters.

 

there's a hook tool with a handle, its like 20 bucks at harbor freight.

A hammer worked pretty well for me. One whack and it was gone.

 

well im trying to keep the glass intact so i can put it back in. That thread seems like what i needed. thanks
