Default tranny fitment issues?

hello everyone. I own a crx hf and i recently put a ys1 tranny to replace the old and beat up s1 i had there prior. I got the tranny installed, got new axles, clutch, and installed everything. as soon as i installed it i found a very large noise coming from the tranny side of the car. I see and the tranny is hitting the chassis! i took off the motor mount, it was beat up so i replaced the bushing and installed it again and nothing! its even closer now than it was b4.. any ideas what it can be? axles? or does the ys1 even clear the chassis? or do I have to hammer the crap out of the car to clear the trans? thanks in advance.

I had a issue when swapping from a j1 tranny to a ys1 but it was clearance with the sub frame not the chasis. I had to jerry rig up my own t bracket to make things work. till this day I still have no idea why the hell it didn't fit.

Well I don't know if its the chassis or sub frame.. but its right on top where you change the tranny fluid the hard way (correct way) lol. Right under the battery. I'll have a pic of it tomorrow..

i am using innovative motor mounts (60A). I replaced the bushing on the tranny mount because it was shot from the first clutch i had (act race).

looked at the clearance of both the alternator side and he tranny side, and it cant be the motor mounts. it might just be that the ys1 is too long for the bay and that i might need to make a little more space with a hammer.

so I went to a local frame specialist place, and they took a look at it. They found nothing wrong with the frame. I was not pushed or warped what so ever. Im guessing its gonna be the tranny that is too long and now, i have to take it out and bang the hell out of where it hits. I guess ys1 trannys don't fit in crx's? ill let you know what happens tomorrow if anyone is interested. cheers.

ok so this is what i found out. The casings for any cable trannys are the same size. So it is not the tranny and it is not the car. I found out that it is the motor mounts. the steel motor mounts to be exact. they assemble the steel mounts and the bullet mounts a little different. With the billet mounts, they use pin point precision with a machine to weld them together, and as for the steel mounts, they hand make them, making them prone for human error. I guess i just got a tranny mount that was a little too short. Easy fix, just had to put washers in the middle of the mount and tranns and that should fix it right up. cheers.

so it turns out that it wasn't the tranny that was doing all the shaking in the car!! dam! i cleared the tranny from the frame and it does it even worse now. i have been doing my research and found out that it can be a bad axle? I put new bearings on, and same thing, and well i got reconstructed axles when i got the new tranny, but i'm most definitely leaning towards a bad passenger side axle. It only vibrates and it feels that the wheel is going to come off then i'm going straight, and it really shakes when i do right turns. any help?? anything??? this sucks.
