CRX Short Shifter Pics?
Already did a search. I'm looking for pics of short shifters in CRXs installed, view from inside car. I just wanna see how much physically shorter the shifter looks. Thanks.

Hey, i just did this a few days ago.. got a short shifter off ebay... It only sits about 3/4 of an inch lower.. sucked.. i didnt like it.. so i cut about an inch and a half off the short shifter and it sits very nice now... you need an aftermarket shift *** of course to screw on.. but it works...
you guys should keep in mind that the name "short shifter" refers to the lower part of the stick being shorter (the part BELOW the pivot point, or "ball"). it gives you the same effect as chopping above but for some reason most of them are shortened from the bottom.

actually, most short shifters don't sit much lower....they shorten the throw of the shift, so your gears are closer....and the distance between the pivot ball and the bearings is longer on a short throw shifter, causing more movement at the linkage, and less up at the ****...just installed 2 in the last week..so it is fresh in my head.
