You'll need to make an adapter plate. Not worth it. If you want a single stage manifold, get an F22A1 manifold. Then port and polish it

well it wasnt so much that as it was the fact it seemed uncommon and wanted to know why. so i now know this particular manifold wont bolt on without an adapter plate. is that the story with all H22 intakes on F22As or just the Euro R?

All H22's share the same flange. F22Ax's can only use F22Ax and H23Ax intake manifolds. Not F22Bx, F23Ax, H23A VTEC, F20B

I think there is also an issue with coolant passages. As the H22 manifold is a "dry" manifold with no coolant passages.

Another option is to use an H22 upper plenum and TB. It will bolt directly to your F22a6 lower manifold.

Do a search, there are or were a few adapter plates on the market to put the H manifold on the f22a/h23 heads. There have been a few threads here in the all motor section on this. It's a well priced alternative to making more power on the f22a...

Here's one place that could help, regardless of what route you take as far as your intake manifold goes, they actually specialize in this stuff.

Here, I found the adapter plate

Do your research on making it work, it's here on Honda-Tech or even contact someone at those two links, they can tell you what's up better than anyone, that's what I'd do.
