Default OFF Topic - FOR Photoshoper EXPERTS!!!!!

I have photoshop 5.0 and I wanted to change the color of a car that I have a picture off. The car is blue, but I wanted to see it in yellow. I tried selecting different areas of the chasse, and trying to apply "Replace Color..." , but eveytime I try it pixalizes the selected area and makes the color different than what I selected. How do I change the colors?

Thanks for any help.

select the areas you want to change, like you already did, and go to image >>> adjust >>> color balance OR levels OR hue/saturation OR (probably) a combination of the three. Usually, especially for no0bz , it's easiest if you use hue/saturation to take the saturation of your area down to zer0 (grey with highlights) and then colorize it. you could try just using color balance and opacity changes from the beginning, but blue to yellow is difficult.

do like u did, hit replace color, crank the fuzziness all the way up. i think its 200. then in the replace color window, select the eyedropper with the + sign. select all the colors u want to replace. good luck.
