Hi guys!
I recently purchased a mugen gen 2 wing but have no idea on how to install it! Anyone who has installed one please give me the run down! Can I use the factory guidelines used for the type r spoiler or make a template? your help is much appreciate! Thanks guys!

 

btw the wing has 6 bolts, 3 on each side.

 

Some pics of the wing would help, especially detail pics around the mounting bases with the mount studs.

 

3 bolts on each side.... sound like the stock gsr wing to me.... if you have a type r they only use 2 bolts each side and thus dont have the hole for the 3rd. you might have to drill into the trunk.

 

No, GS-R wing also has 2 bolts on each side in the same location as the ITR wing. The difference is that the GS-R wing has a plastic pin (and hole) on the left to locate the wing correctly, and a hole on the right for the brake light wire harness to pass through.

 

thanks for the info guys I will post pictures tonight! you guys think I can use the factory holes the have templated on the bottom of the trunk?
