CRV front issues
Need help here i got a 2000 crv AT 4wd front right axle that went bad.. orielly parts ordered one for me but the inner cv axle cup does not sit flush on the tranny seal thus causing a leack after inspection the OEM and aftermarket are both different slightly, the after market is a little longer than oem after orielly ordered 2 i got my money back and went to autozone for a remanufatured one to see if they use the oem inner cups lets see how that goes.

ive had this issue with axles before at the shop. sometimes you gotta take the little clip on the end of the axel off on the transmission side. other then that you gotta jam it in. use the accordian style boot as a limit of what you can pull and then start plunging it into the tranny... kinda hard to understand but goodluck anyway!
Possible differential carrier bearing(s) worn. Try pushing/pulling up and down on the inner joint. There will always be alittle play but if it feels excessive it probably is or axle seal was not installed straight and it just looks like the axle is not flush.
thanks for the help i never thought about taking the clip off, the problem was the the inner joint on the oriellly shaft was a lil bit longer and wider they ordered 2 axles and both were the same, we will see how the autozone ones go. the aftermarket did not sit flush on the seal like the OEM one even after banging the **** out of it for like an hour it would simply to flush in all the way in.
