wheel question

my friend has a 2002 RSX Type-S and he wants to put 18's on it but the ones he wants are 18X8 with a +42 mm offset...will that rub or will it work...and what size tires should he go with?

I've seen people with 18x8 at that offset, and they were ok. 225/40/18

they should be fine.. there a guy here with 19, although .. i dont know his offset or anything else
