That price sounds pretty good if it's in good condition. If it's been sitting a while, I'd have a few things checked out like injectors, compression check, etc. That's a 10 year old car so it may have been sitting for while. I test drove a 93 Miata that had 23k miles, and it ran like *** because it sat for 3 years in a garage undriven. Also, I didn't think they made the VTEC model Preludes in 1992, I thought it was 93 and up? Make sure you check that out too...wouldn't want to accidentally get an S model F22, lol.
agreed i have not idea about new zealand but i know for a fact there was no Vtec in 1992, well for the prelude at least, the prelde started in 93 as u stated. Find out more info on that car before u go near it.
The H22A option was not available in the US until the 1993 model year. However, in Japan, and other PacRim territories, the 4th gen Prelude was available from model years 1991-1995 with the H22A VTEC as a grade option.
