Default My Deatschwerks pump review

I've had these pumps for about a week this is just the first time I could get it done.

Well just to start off, I like how the pump is packaged. It's sealed in a air tight plastic package with like a "wd 40" substance for corrosion protection I guess. Reminds me of "OFF" lol the smell of it.

The polarity on the pump is the same as the stock honda 92-00 and 94-01 tegs configuration which is a plus for our community.

The pumps also come with the correct filter sock:

I have no flow numbers right now I will once my car is back up I will have this setup on the full blown setup. I also like the fact that I didn't just get two pumps off the shelf but I got two pumps were flowed in house and will not flow less than advertised, period. Then they are matched according to individual flow as well so when you buy two or more pumps you actually have a matched pump not just random pumps off the shelf with the same label.

Anyway after having aeromotive and deatschwerks pump I'm more impressed with these pumps. Flow will be the true test but i have to wait until that time comes.

just a small review for people to see.

Nice I was going to use these pump on my full blown setup but I didn't wait for them to come out and went with walbro but I'm considering switching when I see real world numbers

Nice, I am going to try one of these pumps as well and see if we can get away with using one intank and no inline pump with E85.

Keep us updated and thanks for the start!!

Just got a few of these in at the shop, unfortunately they are going straight into cars and to the new owners, I wont even have a chance to test them in anything I personally own. I would really like to test these against my 044 setup just to see how whatever the results turn out as these fit in a much better oem location than an o44 and are easier to get into the tank.

fitting 2 oreven 3 044s in a fuel tank is quite tiresome

how much more effective will these be as a replacement for the walbros in the full blown setup?

or are they a similar rating as a replacement?

Is either pump gonna get an actual REVIEW by someone? So far all we have is what they look like and how its packaged. I can understand the polarity differences being a point but everything else is pointless info. Send me a pump ill test it out.

There are limited numbers available man. Most of the people reviewing the pumps are putting them in their setups that are currently under construction. How about buy a pump yourself and test it out if you are in that much of a hurry.

What are these pumps supposed to flow? Are they 255lph or are they higher?

how about you pay for a pump(s) then test it. If my car was up like I said you would have numbers, you would have flow numbers in a video. Both pumps are not even really out yet and I personally thought It was a benefit to at least see the pumps and what they come with over making a decision and not seeing them by someone independent. Go buy the pumps and send them to Kinsler yourself and foot the bill.

That's why it's "my" review. Make your own if its that big a deal and pointless

I do think these pumps will be more effective. According to flow charts and a flow test done on a "pre-release" pump they will out flow the walbro's. What I do like is the fact I was able to request the pumps I wanted because they are all flow tested in house and can be matched to each other. Instead when ordering a wlabro pump its more of a gamble. Im sure This fuel setup is good for 900+ on gas my guess.

yes 300lph+ according to the site and the pre release pump was tested at kinsler

There is a big thread on all of these pumps. The Aeromotive pump has been flow tested by an external company, the DW pump has numbers posted from their company, etc.

yes I was but here's the thing, They are all matched. If you buy one I it dosent matter, but if you buy two or more without you saying they will get the pumps that flow the closest together. and they all flow whats advertised

while im just the average joe, and dont have any flow numbers or any super-cool data to show you guys, i thought i'd post as i pre-ordered this pump and am now running it in my setup

when i received my pump, it was the same package (except mine was one of the testing pumps, it still had test fluid inside it, so mine had some action already ) same wd40-like smell for anti-corrosion,

upon installing it, the plug-in was a snug fit, but some brute force got it in.

made 407whp without the pump even breaking a sweat.

oh and shawn church approved of the pump as well
