Hey Ive seen that one around before, the guy selling it traded his ITR for that car and some money. I think I would do a swap, that car's too nice and has too many parts to just be sold as a shell.

That's me.... I traded my Mugen ITR and some cash (lots of it) for this EF. I never really wanted it - maybe that's why it blew up!

My problem is that I have two other real race cars - D Modified Hatchback - ITA CRX - that take up a lot of time and money. I really don't want to hassle with another project right now.

I believe there were 30,000 miles on the rebuild. The motor came out of an ITA CRM race car, so I'm not really surpised that it let go at 30k. Usually those motors only last a year or so.

If anyone is interested in parts let me know.

Do you need a car to get around? If you do, then i suggest to just rebuild this motor that you have. You have a lot of good parts that if you sell em and start from scratch, you'll probably end up paying for more and not even get the guarantee that the motor will last. You can sell the Mugen wheels for starters and use the $1200 to get you back running...With all the swaps going around, I'm sure you'll find a D16a6 for cheap...say $500 and use the rest of $$ to make sure it doesnt break again. just my 02...thats a really good looking ride you have.

No I was selling it for $4k before the motor blew up. I'd sell it for $2500 as is.

Ok, so 2500 for shell, and everything on it? The only that won't be with the car is the motor, correct. Shoot, for 2500.00 you might be sold.
-are you still going to leave the blown motor in it with all parts?

$2500 would be a good deal. I don't know if you want to go through the hassle of the swap versus how much it would bring in additionally but check out this post:

rebuilt D16a6 with 50k for $250..just a thought.

Wish I had that one and two other race cars

Well if you can afford 4000 on another car, get a sohc vtec swap for 400 or so, that will work good.

"Wish in one hand, **** in the other - see which one fills up first"

If I lived even remotely close, I'd scrape that up in less than one second. I need another EF like I need.....I don't but those pics look like it's an ultra nice HB.

1071 miles from my house...I just checked.
