Moved this post to its own topic since it's a bit unique and I figured it may get more responses this way.

Wearing tires on the outside, that's kind of odd. Yes, pics would help. How low is the car? What all is done to it? Has the car ever been in a front end collision?

check all ball joints and find an alignment guy that knows wtf they are talking about.

Toe is what kills tires.

Yeah but toe almost always eats the inside edges of tires when there is negative camber. Hopefully OP doesn't have positive camber

Only times I've heard of a lowered car with negative camber wearing the tire outside edges is when the tires are always driven on very hard with lots of hard cornering like during autox or track days.

A lot can cause outer tire wear. Bad tie rods, alignment issues, unbalanced wheels, inproper inflation... But I would say you have alignment issues since you said you recently changed the axles and messed with a control arm. Get one asap and go to a shop that knows what they are doing.

I bought tires one time from a Goodyear store and while they were installing the tires, one of the mechanics was trying to feed me "you need camber kits". I politely disagreed and said I just need an alignment but he really insisted I needed them.
