Default Picking up a new '11 Si sedan tomorrow

Registered here a few years ago and never got the 92' Ls i wanted at the time so i stuck with the 00' Focus zx3 until late 08'
Then I got a good deal on a used 02' Svt focus so i have had that for over 2 years now.
Wanted something with 4 doors and sporty so I am picking up a new '11 Si sedan Crystal black pearl. No options for 21,385

Now all I have to do is take a nice 230 mile drive to salt lake city to pick her up...
Stil keeping the Svt foci until i can sell it as the dealer only wanted to give me 2600 on a trade in, no thanks!
Will post pics of my new Si soon
What are some things i should know (if any) while breaking in this car
Cheers
John-

Like anything vary engine speed, generally you don't wanna hop on the highway and cruise at 3000rpm for 200miles. You also don't wanna beat the **** out of it just a happy medium. oh and try downshifting more when coming to stops making the engine slow the car. im sure others will chime in...

The break in period is 600 miles. Did I abide by that, no. I went and I started vtecing all around. Just no burnouts, launches or need I say "power shifts" lol, just nice easy shifts really just for the clutch. At the same time you don't want to get a new car and go drive 600 miles at 70 mph, the valves and rings won't seat and just smear everything. For about the first 8-10k I used about 1-1.5 quarts every 5k, now at last oil change I went nearly 5k and it didn't use a drop. The first 10k I was hard on the car in an appropriate way, no stupid driving. The car is designed to be driven hard. Some times I'd bounce the rev limiter 20 times just for fun lol. I rebuilt the motor basically at 21k and everything was better then perfect on the break down of things.

I've heard that for the first 1,500 miles dont go over 4k rpms on the engine? I know about varying speeds and load in different gears, which is what i did. I never used cruise control the 230 miles back.
Now im going out to the car every 3-4 hours to let it fully warm up and then cool down. heard that helps.
Only 268 miles so, not gonna attempt to Go into Vtec until i hit 1000 miles, or should I go sooner?
