Alright so I've been looking into picking up an FA5 SI. I've found some pretty good deals on some but don't know too much about the newer civics. Most of the ones I've been looking are 2007. What are some common problems to look for with these cars? I know RSX's dont have the greatest transmission, do the K series in the 2006 up have similar problems?

Sorry for not looking around the forum more before asking about the trans. So 06-07 and some 08s have the 3rd gear problems. The car I'm really leaning towards is a 2007 with 18,xxx miles. The car is a Certified Honda Pre-Owned so it has a 7 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty. Will the transmission issues be covered under the warranty?
