ok l did a h22 swap into my 96 accord. l got the halfshaft n axle from junkyard off 96 accord. well the boot cracked and leaking so lm just gonna replace axle. but ive heard alot of dif things. prelude axle is beefer and stronger and accord ones will fit also. also heard u gotta use accord inner and prelude outer and blah blah. which type of axle should l use?prelude or accord? and do l have to use inner of one and outer of another or what?

The Prelude set-up is said to be better. You need either both Prelude shaft and axels or both Accord. The difference is one uses an intermediate shaft with a male end and the other has a female.

 

Correct, you can mix/match axles as well, provided the intermediate shaft and driver's axle are the same.

Accord driver's axle, Accord intermediate shaft, Prelude passenger axle works

 

Or until you are putting 400-600 hp to the ground you could stick with the Accord axles.

I apologize if this message has been posted in the wrong area, I am severely new to Forums and have no clue where or how to post...But My question is simple to anyone local to the LA area, where/how do I find a engine for my 91 honda accord lx? I want to replace it with the same type, whatever it came with stock I think its a F22A1...or replace it with whatever is going to keep me in a decent budget and still Legal.
