Default New to HT,looking for guidance...

First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong place....Well as I said,I'm new to the site and have been looking through countless threads about everything related to my car.I just got out of training for the army and love my honda's so I decided to get a 97 civic with a b16.When I got the car it was pretty rough (still is).But in my spare time I've been trying to fix/clean it up little by little.I really just want it nice and clean, but can tell it was beaten up,had shotty work done.Anyway, heres a few pics...I really want to clean up the engine bay but wouldn't know where to start,I've checked the shaved/tuck/clean bay thread and love it.I don't have alot of tools or money atm but highly motivated and love working on the car.If anyone could give any pointers or advice on things to do that wouldnt require alot of cash and how-to I'd really appreciate it....

Before

Now..(Still major wip)

Messy..(dont know why imageshack decided to rotate these...)

So yea, sorry if I broke any forum rules or anything like that, tried to insert image but could only hotlink for some reason, just trying to get some help, thanks for any input.

You're doing a fine job so far. If you don't have a lot of money to spend, keep doing what you're doing, DIY's. It's always handy to know people with tools and that can weld/paint/etc.
