I bought an LS trans off this kid. He said it had no problems etc. and that he has a money back guarantee. Long story short, it is siezed inside and also has the wrong diff in it. I told him this and now he wont respond via text/call. He is just out to rip people off since it's obvious he cant assemble a trans properly. He goes by "bobby". Don't waste your time with him if you need a transmission. Thanks

Wow that stinks. If you picked it up you should have inspected it better and spun the Input Shaft along with attempting to change gears.

 

I tried spinning it but wasnt sure if I should be able to spin by hand. Either way he is a crook and told me that if I had any issues he would give me the money back

It's obviously not your fault you got scammed, but you should have been more aware.

 

Yea, the worst part is that this is the second F'ed up trans i have gotten. The first one was shipped in the mail and got to me in pieces. At least I got my money back thru paypal. Anyway, if anyone can help me source a 20 spline good ls trans , let me know. thanks

 

shoulda bought the gsr off me i offered, ive been there witht he trans scammers and im still dealing with them but at this point you have 2 trannys if ur good enough with pulling them apart by a rebuild kit from synchro tech, they are very reasonable with the pricing and alot of people on here use them. atleast then you know what you have, at this point to shell out 400 bux on a basic rebuild kit is better then shellin 400 out on a trans ur unsure of. just my 2cents

 

wish you were local man my buddy chris works at a trans shop and rebuilds honda ones in his spare hours, he built me a sick gsr tranny all synchrotech parts, even painted the damn thing to look fresh and pretty, hope you get a resolve

Yea, i thought i would get a trans in the mean time while you are building the one for me...but got screwed like usual. U can have it for parts if you want. Its useless to me
