door can be pulled out some when locked
not really sure how to explain this.just bought a 97 integra.
#1-the door can still be pulled out about 1/4-1/2" maybe.even when locked.
#2-the door doesnt open from inside.
#3-when you push the thing that turns(by the handle on iside)to lock.its hard to turn and wont lock.
any one know what this could be..
i attached some pics.this is with the door locked.i have to lock it with the key from the out side.

could it be this thing?the door latch thingy?
and has anyone ever removed and replaced one of these?if so is it hard?
or could it be the little rods that move when open/lock the doors?

In the door jam, the bracket that the door latch hooks to, is adjustable. It is held by two screws. Loosen the screws and move the metal piece toward the interior of the car. Tighten the screws back up, close the door and check for fitment. You may need to re-loosen the screws to move the latch in more.
