I have a 86 SI with the BT motor (a20a3) and I've been searching for a while now and I cant seem to find any info on the tans for these cars. Mine has gone out and I am looking for one to replace it with, but i'm looking to make the car a little faster while i'm in there. Is there a trans thats geared any shorter than whats in the car now? I know that some people use accord transmissions, but I dont know what year accords or if they are longer or shorter gears than whats in the prelude.

Any help is appreciated.
