I recently bought a 99 civic si and for some reason after filling up with gas i am now empty 4 days later. Ive been shifting at low rpms and not driving around enough. Is my gas gauge not working right or is my car just that bad that its wasting gas like crazy? How can i fix this?

 

how many miles in those 4 days ?

 

Maybe a gas leak...or maybe you didn't realize that Civic SI's don't get stellar gas mileage.

Also, that B16 trans is really tight and there isn't really a time when you're in low RPMs lol

 

Just fill it up and see how much gas it takes, calculate the mileage, then decide if your car or gas gauge is malfunctioning.

Yeah im actually going to do that 2morrow. by the end of the week ill let you know how many miles i drove within that fill up
