Default 1994 honda accord

94 accord lx.. gas gauge stays on full at all time even when the car is turned off.. replaced fuel pump with the float.. still didnt fix it.. anyone have a wiring diagram so i can troubleshoot this? someone said the fuel sending unit is not with the fuel pump i call bs??

all in all anyone have diagram or anytroubleshooting procedures..

unfortunately no. i doubt i have another bad pump/unit.. my guess is the gauge or ground wire... there is a ground wire that goes to the trunk and bolted down.. maybe if i sand that down and tighten it i wonder if that would work.. stuck full either car off or on. if the gauge is reading full it has a high resistance.. so theres an open in the circuit. infinite resistance... correct?

Sorry, I was wanting a pic of the old pump that was both the fuel pump and sending unit? wasn't trying to say the new one is bad.

My BS manuals and testing procedures for a 5th gen gas gauge all tell me the pump and sending unit are two different units.

The gas gauge in the Accord never goes to 0 unless you're empty. It will stay at whatever level it is left at.

If it is permanently stuck on 'full' then it is possible the gauge in the cluster is messed up - happens if you install those indiglo face gauges.

okay going to the junkyard to grab a cluster. whats involved in removing the cluster.. any diy? sorry this is my dads car not very familar with it.
