recently my engine started making strange knock- sound, as I'm going to change oil pump I decided to check the bearings by the way, its h22a

so here it is, the 1st one is one two pictures, they look fine for me?




I'm more concerned with some of con rod bearings there are strange looking spots on them. I will replace them anyway but would the spots cause knocking sound hmm probably not 7

check clearance and give us the numbers...

1 - 3 0.045mm
4 0.035
5 0.035

I'll check con rods later. This is pretty fresh build there is about 3000miles on it and there were no any knock before, clearances were checked too

 

those are huge clearances.

 

they are in mm and according to user manual they are fine,

have you noticed these strange looking spots on con rod bearings, shall I replace them or its fine ??
