Shocks
Hey guys just wondering if Tokico shocks are good for the money I mean I don't have the cash to buy some SK2 or Teins or non of those but I was wondering if Tokico could be the way to go and if so wich ones ??thnx
you probably mean the blue tokicos..
stop right there. they are oem shocks at best and the rears actually have less rebound in the case of the integra
the koni str.t is the best $300/set shock available

thmotorsports was selling them for $450 shipped for quite some time
then again that's 450 and if the op is budget shopping these don't even count
i mean, dude is looking at blues, the koni sports are a completely different class of shock
is there some reason you aren't posting where the dealer is?

You cant go wrong with Koni Sports (yellow). Ive ridden on a setup with Tokico blues and the same setup then with Koni yellows, completely different the Koni's perform flawlessly and feel smooth. The best part is the adjustment, long highway trip soften them up you are riding on air, get to the track and put them to your race settings for a nice firm ride.
@race bumm...ur right i dont know wich ones....=(....mmm koni yellows they look nice....koni yellows w//what kind of springs or coils???? thnx guys for helping
the springs are 100% dependant on what you want from the car
you need to tell us
if you prefer performance or comfort
around what ride height you're looking for
how you drive
what tires you generally drive on, not size but either tire model or tread compound

hey guys not trying to thread jack but I have a question too. I was shopping around online today as I need a new set of coilovers for spring. I was gonna do the koni yellow/GC set up w/ top hats...
Then I came across these while look @ Team-integra sponsors.
http://www.nlmotoring.com/KSport-Coi...-cac020-kp.htm
Is this set up legit? Am i gonna get my moneys worth out of these or should I go the koni/GC route?
Any help/input would be much appreciated.

i rode in an eg hatch with tokico blues and sk2 springs and it was kinda bouncy but it handled awesome.... i have never experienced them but i have been told that koni yellows and ground control springs were the best bang for your buck
O yea sorry guys been darn busy ...but yea sorry it is a 92 eg and I'm on good year tires bout 80% ...looking for nice smooth ride N can handle random runs u know...thanx guys
I've never looked at a post and said: "Man, I can understand exactly what that guy is saying, he doesn't need my help."
I can tell you I've looked at posts and said: "Man, I can barely understand what this guy is scribbling on the page I think I'll move on to the next post so I don't waste any time deciphering this gibberish."
What are random runs? What's your budget? You said you have goodyear tires. Goodyear only makes probably hundreds of different tires with all kinds of different functions. All seasons? Summer tires? Tires will do more for your handling than anything else you do to your car. There are a lot more important factors than "smooth ride and can handle runs"
If you're talking about Road racing or autocross runs you won't have a suspension that is smooth and "handles runs" - whatever that means.

I've never had a problem with mine in 9 years. I always remove the bolts with an impact, then use the impact to get them started again, and do the final tightening/torquing with hand tools and torque wrench.
Do it right the first time around. You can't go wrong with Koni Sports (yellows). They are an amazing value and ride great. I have mine paired with Ground Control coilovers and could not be happier. They are definitely worth the money.
