ok i got a quick question. i know the b16 motors come from the year 88-91, 92-95, 99-00 beside the b16b motors. my question is if i got a head which i was told that its a b16 head, and it has the stamp PR3-1 and on the far left where the circle is, it has the year 96 on it. does that mean the head is a type r 96-97 spec head?? any help would be greatfull

 

Most likely, either USDM B16a3 Del Sol Vtec head or Non USDM B16a head. But both the ITR and CTR also share the PR3 head IIRC.
