Default New proud owner of a 3rd gen prelude.

I picked up my prelude yesterday. I love it!

I finally got a DD after dailying my motorcycle for a couple weeks. I have been on craigslist non stop for at least a week. Seen everything coming and going and I finally got a car this morning for 1200.

It's a one owner car. Owned by an old lady near stone mountain. Stock everything. Clutch was replaced not too long ago because it was part of the service plan. So far I love the car it drives awesome.

B20A5 (or B5 I forget)

I already ordered coilovers for it.

If you can't see that number it is 267K! Still kickin'

It has working heat and A/C run and drives freaking awesome. It is the 4 wheels steer model as well. I'm thinking of painting it red but I'm not 100% sure yet. It will be coming along nicely.

I wanted to see some cool pics of nice 3rd gens but they are very scarce. I guess I will just have to make an example of mine instead of looking for one.

That would be the cheapest option. I also just looked today and I don't have the 4WS stuff. It steers amazingly regardless.

What do you mean, it doesn't have all the 4WS stuff?

Btw, Prelude Power is a better resource for these cars than this site. This site isn't very active for the 3G models.

Thanks I was looking for a site that was mostly 3rd gen. Everyone is obsessed with 4th.

You need to go to Prelude Power dot com(no spaces) That is where you will find out much more than you ever knew possible for this chassis.

We have developed some new aftermarket for the lude like - H22 swap mounts, stainless steel catback, Ksports True coilover system, etc...

You can go to my site and see what I have helped to create. www.1funryd.com

Email me if you have any questions, I have been in the 3rd gen family for over 10 years, and I am still working on more newer aftermarket for our chassis.

This was mine until 2-1-2011 when I got into a accident and got hit from behind and totalled it.

After H23a swap:

I am joining prelude power as we speak. This will stay as my main build thread but I will always update one on pp as well.

Well. It's only Monday. Top left is fabric. Not 100% sure if I'll be getting into all that soon. Top middle is a set of fog light HIDs (ignore the blue foglight. That was my blinder from the civic) Top Right is the oil I used. Max Life valvoline for the motor and conventional Mobile 1 5000 for the trans. Bottom left is the Fog lights already fitted with the 3000ks. Had to do a little fabbing but I love that kind of stuff. Bottom right is the 55w HIDs for the headlights. I have to wait for the housings to get here first =] Not pictured are the coil sleeves. The car has been idling sporadicly since I got it. I knew from the moment I started it for the test drive it needed an IACV (Idle Air Control Valve). It runs about 50 bucks second hand. I took it out and cleaned it but it didn't help it so I ordered one today. I pulled the injectors and cleaned them yesterday and I replaced a coolant hose that needed to be replaced desperately. Also put a new battery in it! So far it's coming along fine. I have to work tomorrow so I probably wont have any progress on it. Wednesday I am off as well as my brother so it will probably be lowered and have some nice fogs and headlights installed. ---------- Post added at 09:43 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:36 PM ---------- The new batt
