Radiator/heater hoses look like they are going to explode

I just finished putting my new swap in my Integra and I noticed that after a drive the 2 radiator hoses and the heater hose increase in size to the point where it looks like they might pop. The car runs fine does not over heat and when I did the swap I put in a bigger radiator and new water pump.
The system doens't leak and I havent seen any problems. I was just about to order all new OEM hoses as they are the stock ones and have about 200K on them. Anything else I should check before I order the new hoses?"

It is normal for the material in the hoses to deteriorate over time (especially with 200k miles on the car). Replace all the coolant hoses that you can at this point, because if not you will be chasing leaks.
well i dont know how large the hoses are expanding but if it has a minor crack in the sleeve and it is pressurizing the cooling system slightly, its possible. I would likely think it was the hose being old but ive never seen an old hose expand the point where they look like they are gona explode. Usually they will rip along the area where the clamp is long before that and start leaking.

Use a cooling system pressure tester to see exactly what is happening to them under the same load they would be at while the car is running. Couldn't hurt to replace both upper and lower hoses. While your at it mine as well pick up a new thermostat. Replace those parts and see if issue continues. If so you could have issues with cylinder sleeves or possibly even a head gasket. Both can cause excess pressure to build inside the cooling system which would cause your hoses to expand. Just my .02

i had a problem like this and all i had to do was bleed the system and the problem was solved. since the op said this happen after he installed his swap and larger radiator then the system was open and i bet he didnt bleed it after he filled it up.
replace them asap..it blew on my friend's civic and the temp went to H very fast, luckily we got to school and i replaced them after school in the parking lot.

because of a 15 dollar hose, it could have been a catastrophic disaster if you're not paying attention. Oh, dont get anything other than OEM. no autozone/kragen hoses.
