Default Expanding aluminum tube?

Has anyone tried expanding aluminum tube?

Trying to stretch 3" OD to 3.3" OD 6160 0.125" wall

I have enough to make a few mistakes, I was going to try stopping by a muffler shop and have them try an exhaust pipe expander.

Anneal it with a torch to an 0 temper. You can usually expand aluminum 0.25" inch on the OD. It's going to be dicey to go to 0.33".

6160-6 that I have has a streching limit of about 10%, I'll try to anneal it and take it and have it streched.

I know you guys hate old threads being revived, but why start a new thread to ask an old question?

it will works good with aluminium, ive seen people using that for steel and really is a pain, to hard to expand using that manual expander, i'd recommend to use a machined die...
