Default Bought a 99 accord, needs work!

I bought my first honda a week ago. A 99 accord coupe. Body has 150k miles on it with an 01 EX motor that has 73k miles. Got it for $1500 from a mechanic because it needs work.

I want to change the plugs and wires because he never did as well as the fuel filter.. What brand is good for the plugs and wires? Im coming from Mustang world so I have no clue about these things

I also need to get a new auto trans because this one is slipping.. Any good places to get a used one and how much should the install be?

Other then that I have a bad clunking under the front end.. Ive read some stuff and after assuming its the struts I see it could be the sway bar bushings??

Last but not least the rear drivers side caliper is out since the rotor is just rusted over.. Im assuming this is the same as changing any caliper? Or is honda different in some way?

NGK plug and wires (Honda uses NGK for factory plugs and wire.)
Change tranny fluid and filter? Might help?

Explain more about this clunking sound. When does it do it? Braking? Gasing? Over a speed bump?

The trans is shot, its had the fluid changed a few times already as well as the filter.

The clunking is in the front only.. It doesnt happen over dips. Its over decent sized over bumps and is coming from the wheels.. If the rear shocks aren't clunking and the struts don't seem bad what else could it be?

I read that the clunking could be the sway bar bushings? Can the ball joints sound that way if they are bad? I have no noise when turning so I assume they are fine.
