crx no map sensor
i bought a crx that had a messed up b18a ls engine so i put my b18b in it that i had and got it running but it runs like crap and i had a check engine light so i got the code looked it up it was for the map sensor i looked and i dont even see the plug for map. original swap was a chop job to begin wih as i had to crimp wires together that where just twisted and so for was just wonder if anyone could give me advice on what color wire to trace from the ecu to see if the plug was cut or what thanks
The colors of the map sensor wires are white, green/whit stripe, Yellow/Red.
Why anyone would cut the map sensor plug off is beyond me. Make sure that the plug that is plugged into the Throttle Position Sensor on the back of the Intake Manifold has the same plug and some people mix them up.
C10, C14, C15 are the pins on the ECU for the MAP sensor if you are using an OBD-0 PR4. The picture shows a PM6 but it's the same for a PR4 or any OBD0
