For sale/trade.......RX-7 convertible
Located in the Chicago and southern WI area.
I regret posting this, but I picked up a clean rust free FC Turbo II today, and I feel I should be building that car and not this vert, as I cant afford both....
So, am considering selling this. If I don't get a good offer it won't get sold.
1988 Mazda RX7 convertible non turbo 5 speed, power everything. about 145xxx on it, runs and starts great, super reliable, pulls good, no mechanical issues. Interior is in good shape, under the hood is very clean. I drive this car 3 hours back to wisconsin every weekend with no troubles at all. I have poured literally hundreds of hours into this car restoring it... It all has been done by me, not half assed by 7 previous owners.

-Solid motor mounts(will throw in soft mounts with sale)
-K&N intake filter
-GREDDY Power Extreme exhaust(very sought after exhaust with an excellent tone)
-No cats
-DTSS delrin eliminators
-4.10 rear end swap
-manual steering rack swap
Exterior:
-Series 5 front bumper and side trim
-MAZDASPEED front lip
-Corksport vented headlight cover
-Corksport cooling panel
-Turbo II hood
-JDM power folding mirrors
-JDM flash to pass lenses
-Series 5 oem fog lights
-Turbo II wheels
-Series 4 sport spoiler
-Series 5 vert taillights(mint)
-Series 5 OEM sideskirts
-5% tint on the sides and back
Interior:
-Gray
-Turbo II seats
-Black door panels with suede
-lots of new pieces
-series 5 cluster swap
The car over all is in good shape, the front was repainted last summer, but the rest of the car is original paint, so its by no means perfect, has dings, scratches, etc... The top has some small tears, but I will be getting a new top within a month, oil filter pedestal o ring is leaking a bit, but not enough to leave drops on the concrete, and the windshield has been cracked since I've owned the car. Has some rust underneath, and a spot under the spoiler(I'll throw in a clean trunk lid). Runs great, drives great, stops great, cruises great
I will throw in a rebuilt clutch type lsd with the sale too.
I'm probably forgetting a bunch...
I am posting a starting price of $4750 but will listen to all practical offers. Will trade for something reliable I can daily, must be even trade or cash on your part. Will only sell it to someone that will take car of it and not destroy it.....
