Small photo shoot of the DD, plus my other cars.
I haven't started a thread in here in quite a few years. We had a nice warm, clear day so I grabbed some photos of my daily driver.
'97 Acura 2.2CL - Purchased it in '04 with something like 130k miles. Planned to drive it a few years and sell it. Ended up keeping it and last year I began adding a few mods. Mostly just basic stuff.
Engine
Bluetop H23VTEC
OBD1 P72 w/ Crome running H22 basemap
M2S4 transmission
Short ram intake w/ velocity stack and K&N
Tri-Y header
Apexi WS2 exhaust w/ flat black muffler
Suspension / Wheels / Brakes
Function and Form Type 2's
Ingalls front camber kit
17x8 Work Ewing's (front wheels were originally 7" wide, but I had Weld Craft widen them to 8")
Falken 912 tires
NSX front brakes
11.1" Powerslot slotted rotors
Goodridge SS brake lines
Interior
'97 to 98/99 CL console swap
Aftermarket heated seat kit
Color matched woodgrain **** ****
Outside air temp gauge
Pioneer AVIC F90BT head unit
Backup camera
Infinity Reference front speakers
Infinity Kappa rear speakers
Exterior
35% tint
DIY headlight black housing
Morimoto MH1 HID Bi-Xenon projectors
Morimoto XB35 "Philips" 4300K bulbs
Morimoto 3five ballasts
TRS relay kit

'92 Civic Si - Bought this one in April of '01 with 72k miles. Swapped a JDM GSR motor and did a mild/medium all motor build. It made 197 whp and 132 ft/lbs. I did some HPDE's and some drag racing with it in '04/'05. It hasn't been driven much since then. I might swap the motor into a 5th gen sedan and start racing it again. These photos are old. It's all dusty and the front bumper is off at the moment.

'86 Buick Regal T Type - I picked this up in '08 with 62k miles on it. It's mostly all original except for Hooker exhaust, scan master and an intake. The motor was rebuilt a few months after I bought it. I took it in for paint in the summer of '09. The painter screwed around for a year. I didn't get the car back until last fall. I basically got ripped off and might take the guy to court. After I get the paint sorted out, I have another 3.8 Turbo motor that I might build and swap into the car. I want the keep the original motor stock since the miles are somewhat low, it's an extremely rare model and it's numbers matching.

All comments are welcome. Good or bad. Thanks for looking.

Thanks guys, the garage was last years project. I'm happy with the way it turned out. LOL, I wouldn't say baller. These cars are old and the only one that might be worth something is the turbo Buick... or if I hold on to it for a while, hopefully it will be worth something.
Thanks, they look good in the photos, but I can assure you. The Civic and CL and have their scratches and door dings. The Acura even has some rust in the quarter panel. It spent most of its life in the north east.
Haha, I knew you would.
It's also my favorite. Turns a lot of heads when I'm out driving around. I'm sure it was the same way with your old GN. Probably even more so, since the GN is much more recognizable.

Yeah, the CL is kind of a strange car. Right after I bought it, I had a "what the hell was I thinking?" moment. Should have bought a 5th gen Accord instead. They're ugly in stock form, but I'm happy with it now that it's lowered with wheels.
Wow all 3 cars are great. Nice to see the import and american muscle together. That's how my family collection is. Imports and classics. Beautiful garage as well.
Thanks guys, here's a couple more photos of the garage. The only thing left to do is run the air lines for the air tank through the ceiling. I hate dragging them around the cars and getting caught on things while I'm working.
If you're interested in coating your garage floor, this is the stuff I used. The Buick has a leaky oil pan, so wiping it up is no problem with the coating.

Your garage and all your cars are really nice man. The CL with ALWAYS be ugly but yours is nice and tastefully modded. The interior is what I liked the most!
Which is faster; the Buick or the EG?

by chance are u a member from acurazine?. its been a long time but i think i recall seeing your cl on that site. i had a cl but sold it. n e way very nice makes me miss mines.
As for the faster car, I can't really tell. It's a question I get asked from time to time. The best I've gotten out of the Civic on street tires was a 13.5 with full interior. I want to say it feels faster because it's louder, revs to 9200 RPM and has a manual trans. On the other hand, the Buick hooks better and the torque really makes it deceiving. Hopefully I'll get the Buick to the track this year and find out for certain.
Thanks for the comments everyone.
Now I kinda miss my Buick
Thinking of maybe picking up a clean Hot Air car as a cruiser (or another bike not sure). You can get real steals on Hot Airs as nobody wants them lol. I like the looks and even though they are considerably slower and less valuable they are no less fun to own and still have potential.
