anyone seen anything like this before? what the heck could cause this? this crank came out of a stock JDM GSR motor that also had cracked ringlands on all 4 pistons. go figure...

and btw the crack is pretty much the same on both oil holes on that one main journal.

 

damn. i have broke a few rods but never a crank. bad crank pully or poor piston/rod weight balancing.

 

Somebody actually broke a Honda crank?!? Unless you are making 800whp, "night" is right. It more than like the harmonics that have gone wrong.
