What are these parts on this sir1???
So I decided to see if my luck would be any better over here due to you guys having more experiance with this motor...
Ok so I figured out that the motor that came with my car is acually a SIR 1 b16a...
I was origanally told it was an SIR2 obd1 motor...
It has been converted to obd1 at least...
It had also been tore apart ie... intake off, exhaust off. you get the idea. Picked the car up with the motor on a stand.
car came with a Skunk2 intake manifold, and I started to move things over and realized that there are a couple parts im unfamiler with and how to hook them up or if they are even needed...
this is the best pic I could come up with using google...

What are they and what do they do???
oh and what the hell is this thing???

The top picture makes me think that is emissions stuff.
The 2nd picture is the Fast Idle Control valve. This is the common culprit if the car has a the sparatic idle. Where it bounces up and down from 500-1000 rpm idle.

Basic purpose for that Air Boost Valve is to help keep your RPM from falling quickly between shifts. It's not necessary to have them as all the newer B motors got rid of them.
