Hello,

I have a 1992 Honda Accord LX, lately I've been having this issue with the heater/AC blower suddenly shutting off, not blowing at all and then mysteriously will turn back on again. This has been an intermittent problem now for about 2 weeks. Could this be just a loose connection? What might this run me cost wise just a ballpark figure of course. I know that there is a panel under the glove box where I can screw off and see blower and heater core, but not sure if I should mess with it to see if I can see how bad the connection issue is, if that is what the case really is.

 

When the motor stops working-what happens if you give it a small tap? Could be the blower motor is giving out. When it stops, can you test the voltage at the the connector to see what is going on.

 

Voltage drop the blower motor when it becomes inoperative. 12v drop + no worky = bad blower motor.
