Does anyone have the part # for the speed sensor that is mounted on an automatic transmission in a 1990 honda accord ex? i can't seem to find one on the internet searches... i get too many hits and too many part numbers and am not sure which is the right one i need.

my cars sport mode light on the dash flashes, the car kicks out of overdrive and the speedo takes a dive. sometimes the check engine light even comes on when this all happens. my research tells me that it's the speed sensor located on the tranny itself.

any help would be appreciated.

that's exactly what i did and one site came up with 5 different speed sensors for a 1990 accord... can't tell by looking at them if they are for manual or automatic and they all look different..
