95 civic ex coupe front upper control arm question
ok so the bushings on my uca on the front are worn out. They other day I removed the uca and the bushing fell to the ground by themselves. The bushings alone cost like $20 each so I thought I take a look to Ebay. my car is a daily driver so I dont race a lot, has stock suspension and 15" rims. so whatr do you guys think of this? the reason to trying to go cheap is cuz I need new tires so im saving money and the bushings ate my front tires really fast.

You will be replacing those again, and I bet quite soon.
Also, the bushings did not eat your tires..
The alignment being off is most likely reason they got chewed up.
Just throwing new tires on it, won't fix anything.

I know the bushings didnt eat my tires, I know was that my alignment is off, what I wanted to say was that I need to fix the uca so I can go ahead and buy new tires and get an alignment. The problem is I dont have money to buy some $200 uca and then another $300 on tires. my question was that if I buy new tires, and this ebay UCA and get an alignment, do you think they will last?

DO NOT USE THOSE CONTROL ARMS!!!! I put that eBay replacement UCA crap on my car, and both the bushings and the ball joint went to crap in less than a year. Did it right the second time around and put on brand new OEM Honda UCA's at around $90/side.
I bet you could even find moog lca's for less then that.
Car's are expensive, I don't know what to tell you.
If you cheep out now, it will bite you in the ***.

No clue on the 96-00 Civic UCA, but the 94-01 Integra and 92-95 Civic share suspension components.
All 92-95 Civics, including the Del Sol, and 94-01 Integras (except the Type-R) share the same suspension components, as far as suspension locating arms are concerned.
Since this thread was only discussing the front UCAs, they're all the same. Just be certain to get the correct side. They're asymmetrical.
First EG 95SI front LCAs are not the same part# as 98IT(R) (wich doesn't mean they aren't interchangeable) and second the eg 98IT LS has the same (part#) front LCA as the ITR.
IT(non-R) and ITR rear lower arms are different though (the only diff?!).
Also EG SI and IT(R) upper arms are diff part# (again wich doesn't mean they aren't interchangeable).

Integras and Civics have different part numbers for UCA's because for some reason the Civic UCA bolts and bushings are also available separately, but are not on Integras. I'm pretty sure they are physically the same part, 92-95 Civic and 94-01 Integra.
96-00 Civic UCA's are completely different and not interchangeable in any way with 92-95 Civics.
