Did you remove the CRX wiper linkage yourself? A shop removed mine and now I don't know how to reinstall another set like yours. There is nothing in the FSM, and the Parts Manual blowup picture is not accurate for installing.

There are 2 rotating 'posts' (with triangular bases, held on by 3 screws) to which the wiper arms attach. Can you tell me which way the very short arms that are on each of these 'posts' face - both down, both up, or 1 of each? I don't think you have tried to lay them out in your picture as they are installed.

I also had a problem with those 2 w/w posts not clearing the hood when I tried to close it. They were hitting the underside of the rear edge of the hood. The triangular bases can attach only 1 way, so I don't see how I could have them out of position.

If you could help me with this it would be very appreciated. It would allow me to buy yours and actually be able to get them installed! Finding a '91 CRX in a wrecking yard around here to take a look at it has been impossible.

Jim,

Yep removed them myself and also installed them into other cars myself.

you need to make sure you thread the one with the little rectangular bar towards wiper motor.

I usually do it the easy way.

turn on ignition so that it is on. turn wiper motor on then let it rotate. Turn off.

Attach rectangular bar. need to make sure that you middle one located then the driver side located.

If you do not do this, the wipers driver side or passenger side with rotate backwards.

then attach rectangular bar to motor.

Test and that should be it.
