ok, so I had my 91 civic hatch in my brothers garage getting rewired. We came to a point where we just couldnt do no more and i had to hire a professional to finish it off. While i waited the 3 days for an opening at the shop, my car sat in the garage silently. The day of surgery finally arrived and I had to start my baby up..it started right up and had it idling for about 5 minutes. Then, suddenly, it screeched to a halt! No warning, nothing. The smell of burned rubber filled the garage. I quickly as I could ran to the ignition and switched it off. I searched throuout my whole car and saw nothing of concern. Afterward, I started it back up and everything was fine. My question is, WTF was that about?! has anyone else come across something similar? and should I be concerned? what other types of weird **** has happened to ur ride?
