Heh, I totally know what you mean! During my engine swap (just about done, got the new motor in FINALLY) I've been totally frusterated, excited, impatient and pissed off all at once. I hate working on the stupid car (done it all by myself) and I hate not working on the stupid car.
But now, I just need to slap in the axles and I'm good to go! Can't wait, next thing you know - the motor will be in, and when I go to start it..... KABOOM!
With my luck something is bound to go wrong...

I know what you mean, I'm mid swap, today was the day of fixing broken trans parts, they were going to have to order them and take 5 days but instead I drove two hours and went and picked them up. My engines, out now I just have to mount the trans and hook everything back up.
i know the feelin all too well..
i finally have my b16 in, but the ecu igot was messed up... i wont have it till the end of next week and my rear brakes went out.. now i have to change them... lots of to do but im ready to have my car goin now

I did my complete swap including headwork and new valvetrain in 5 days. I planned ahead (6 months) and got all the fancy shizzle like hasport linkages and wiring harness and a/c mount.
Hasport made it very simple and very fast. I started it up with no codes.. once I configured the vacuum lines correctly it ran better than the orignal d16. I just wish I didn't get my ecu chipped.. gas mileage totally blows.
