whatever stage it has been in, its always been clean. I cant wait to see what happens in the future with a new owner. And more importantly I can't wait to see what matt comes up with next.

AUDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!
I concur. You'd have to be stupid to chose a Honda over an Audi. My friend just got a '99 A4 1.8T Quattro. Mmm... how luxurious. Not fast yet, but after he chips it and does a K04 upgrade, he'll rip the **** out of my Teg.

Screw VW's (or audi's for that matter)

they look great, but forget about reliability...especially if you are talking about seriously adding boost to a 1.8t. yeah, good motor, but you need more than just a chip to blow the doors off of a i/h/e gsr. The A4 is a heavy car with only a 1.8t pushing it. I say get a hatch and do a turbo setup.

BTW - what lip is that? it looks awesome!!

Amen!! I bought an A4 and regret it!! Yeah, people on audiworld.com will say its part of owning such a nice car, but when you go from honda reliability to audi, its like night and day. My 1992 integra has 160,000 miles with $500 in repairs. My 1999 audi, with only 48K miles is on its 3rd headunit, 2nd CD changer, driver seat clicks around a bit, dealer knows its a common problem, but they have no fix..WTF?, battery went bad at 23K, 2nd gauge cluster, car has stalled out for some unknown reason (never captured on the ECU cause it was for only 1/2 second), and now my CEL light is on for a very rough idle......maintenance is up to date. Timing belts are an issue with this car and people have had them snap at 60K costing them $4K-$6K in repairs. If you do still buy one, buy a brand new one with a warranty which will have the maintenance costs covered during the warranty period. Once it runs out, take the loss and sell the POS. As you can tell, I'm a disgruntled audi owner. Never again!!

Oh yeah, spend $500 on a chip and you'll be low 15's. Spend $2K+ on a turbo upgrade and you'll be high 13's. Then you'll blow your clutch=$800+. I can go on and on why no one should buy an audi.

I dont think Matt is thinkin about an A4. bUt Ko4 1.8ts are slow. I beat one at the track and on the highway with a 55 shot of nitrous on a d16y8. Those where golfs. Pushin a A4, they are weak as hell. If you want a fast audi, get an s4, if you want a reliable one, get a 84 audi 4000 s quattro.

hrmm.. nice car.. i use to have a thing for GSR 4DR's.. becuz everybody has the hatch and barely anybody has the 4dr.. and i saw a nice tricked out 4dr. a gray (the gray paint looks nice) one with 18'' C2 Racing harts (lugged *drools). carbon fiber hood. J-spec headlight conversion. lowered. it looked pretty damn nice. but now i don't like them *sigh.. they look way too long.. can't wait till i get my subee wrx (march 2004).. yeah i know.. what am i doin on honda-tech.

Additionally, for there is a reason why Audi recently made a statement (because it is in this week's Automotive News) that they no longer want there "S" variants to be turbocharged...........because Audi USA is paying out the *** in warrantee work. S4's are sweet, but they are timebombs! The newest and badest turbo Audi scheduled for release this fall is the Rs6, with 450hp...I would still get an M5 over that anyday of the week. I think the only good turbo audis were the old "Quattros" from the 80's....

word up to that. The 2001 vehicle with the most service work done per cars sold for the last year was the 2.7t A6.

i cant afford a s4 at less i would get an older one, and the a4 i know would never be all that fast, i would probley go with a apr stage 3 kit but still be in the mid 13's, im pprobley just going to get a 99-00 dx coupe with either a b20 or b18 and turbo that, it would just be a lot cheaper and and lot faster...thanks for the complements
