air filter swap

I have a 98 honda civic that has an air filter at the back of the engine. liiiiike this:

I want to know if I can swap it out for an air filter like this:

any suggestions?

Yes, aem among others makes one for that kind of throttle body with no mods required, call a*tozone I believe they carry one for y7 just make sure you tell them its for an 98 lx
