98 civic TCU/ECU question

This may be a really stupid question but its been driving me crazy. In the 98 civic (auto) are the TCU and the ECU located in the same spot (driver side kickplate) or in two seperate locations?

All except HX use a single PCM that controls the engine and transmission. HXs use a separate TCM behind the driver's side kick panel IIRC.
