Default What needs to be done to fit a 88-9 front seat base to a 90-1 Si Hatch?

I'm in the process of fitting a Sparco Evo into my hatch, and I like the 400 series seat bases more than the 500. Can I make a 88-89 base fit into my 90 without much hassle? Or is there a better option for a fixed base? And how different are the CRX's??

Thanks!

Did you make them entirely or start out with another and just modify it. I'm thinking I'm just going to get the one for an 89 and modify it to fit, unless a CRX one is closer.
