so i did some more research and have a more specific question now
so i have a Canadian 98 civic sedan ex (with abs) so could i take the disc brakes from a 98 integra gsr sedan? i ll need the e brake cable but what about the brake booster, master cylinder, and proportion valve? is that gonna be the best way or is there a civic with oem 4-wheel disc's that would bolt up better?

im still new here so if im stepping on toes just point me in the direction where i could get some answers

thanks

everyone here will tell you to search, search, and then search again before they'll tell you any info. partly because they are unsure themselves about the correct answer IMO.
and the Vbulletin search compared to zeroforum search just blows IMO, I don tknwo how many times I would search for something and get threads that had nothign to do with what I was searching for. or get no threads back at all. /rant

but if you swap the GSR rear discs then it would be wise to get everything with it, prop valve, booster, MC. the GSR will bolt up just fine, if anythign the lines coming off the GSR MC might be in a different spot than your original MC.

but its not hard to make your own hardline (3/16 tubing) or by using some stainless line (rywire.com sells a premade line kit and some other place do to, so on that I will tell you to SEARCH!) good luck
