Default '95 Honda Accord (1st car - In Progress)

What's going on? This is my first car and everything done to my car (aside from the paint job) I've done myself. I'm currently just looking for/finding the "right" fit for my car. I'm looking to keep it simple and clean. If you have any ideas just throw them at me; any constructive criticism is welcomed... looking to learn from the best.

Right now the main things I will be focusing on are lowering it (but I need to do research since I don't know anything about that), changing my lip kit to black (since my gold front lip cracked), installing my visors, painting wiper arms back to black, painting my door garnishes/pillars black, installing headers, along with some other maintenances here and there.

Looks sharp. Other than the painted visors.. I mean they look decent from the mirror up to the end of the driver door where it breaks off.

I've had it for about 4 years but just recently began doing things within the last year. It went through some phases here and there.

I appreciate the input on the springs, I'll def. be checking that out.

Unfortunately, when you park a car in the streets your center caps are bound to get stolen lol.

I was actually thinking about eliminating the visors period but idk yet.

good start. as for mods, here is what i would do:

ditch the grille and DO NOT put in a "type r" grille because they fit poorly and don't look all that great, there are tons of options out there....you can even cut the middle fin out of your stock grille

as far as lowering, there are tons of options. i am lowered on k sport springs (~2.5" drop) and on stagg struts. it is an awesome combo but not adjustable. just make sure you do your research.

i like visors, but not the painted ones

paint the wiper arms back to black

relocate your front plate to get rid of the fugly front braket (that was the first thing i did on mine lol)

Hey nice Accord.

My only concerns would be the 'DOHCVTEC' sticker if the car still has the stock motor and the grill mainly..

I also am not a fan of the tail lights.

These few mods are distracting from the main theme that I feel you are trying to achieve.

That's my option also not only that koni come with a lifetime warranty, unlike other suspension companies. My only issue is springs I wanted ground control sleeves but i'm not sure if that is good Idea, if only I can choose my spring rates If I were to get eibach springs.

Ground controls and Koni yellows is the best you can get before full threaded body coils.

I honestly would rock them. Top notch high quality parts.

I do like your idea, rarely do I see any Accords with the "DOHC VTEC" decals. I don't have VTEC, back in 08 I was one of those that thought stickers would make my car go faster lol.

I tried to take them off but they've been there so long the paint started to come off with it. Any tips?

Nice ride. What type of kit are you using for the bumpers? I would go back to oem on the tail lights. As for lowering, it really depends on if you want coil overs or lowering springs. If you don't like to feel every bump in the road, then coil overs is the way to go. That's my opinion. Good luck. Sleeper in the making.

this is poor advice. springs will generally be much softer because of the progressive spring rate thus you will feel every bump in the road with coil overs. the lower you go, the harsher the ride for sleeves and some full coil overs but if you get threaded shock body coil overs it wont be as bad because you maintain the spring rate. do your research before purchase
